Hey, I’m Katera. I’m a versatile developer who enjoys solving problems and creating fun, useful tools that people can enjoy. From an MTA train tracker to a travel chatbot companion, I enjoy exploring the creative possibilities of AI and combining them with my coding knowledge. I graduated from CUNY with a degree in Computer Science and am currently seeking a developer role where I can continue building meaningful applications.

Before earning my Computer Science degree, I worked in classrooms and retail. My experience in education has shaped how I think about technology and the ways it can support students beyond the classroom. I believe I can help students by creating and maintaining applications that make the technology they use more useful and accessible.

When I build a tool, I think about the ways it can benefit other people’s lives. I want to contribute to a company that shares that same goal: using technology to create meaningful experiences and make a positive impact.
